This is not goodbye.

leaving

This is for real, guys! I deleted Hootsuite from my phone.

You might have noticed that this blog has been a bit dead lately. Or more likely, you didn’t notice because who notices a neglected blog? Exactly no one. But that’s gonna change, because something big happened last week– we got a new Interactive Marketing Associate!

Since  July 2011, I, Brandi Beeker, née Childers, have been Tweeting, Facebooking, pinning, and Instagramming GoTriangle, Triangle Transit, DATA, and Bull City Connector news, but that’s no longer my main jam. You see, back in September I accepted a new position as Marketing Specialist for DATA. Since then, in addition to keeping our social sites going with help from my boss,  I’ve been learning about DATA and coming up with ideas to communicate with our current riders while getting new people to try the bus. Starting last week, though, I handed the reigns to our social outlets to our newest team member, Grace Hayes.

Grace wowed us with her energy and past experience. Though she’s only been with us for a week, she already seems like a member of our little transit family and we know she’s going to help us get the word out about how great alt-commuting can be.

In the last two years, I’ve met an amazing group of transit users and cycling advocates. Thanks for everything and believe me when I say you haven’t heard the last from me!

♥ Brandi
