On Monday, February 6, Congressman David Price and Congressman G. K. Butterfield took a bus tour along the proposed route of the Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit (D-O LRT) project.
The tour ended with a news conference at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), a recent stop addition to D-O LRT, making it a 17.7-mile project with 18 stops. Continue reading
GoDurham’s Route 20 is your connection between south Durham and the Hope Valley Commons Park and Ride to Duke University and the Durham VA Medical Center. The Exploris School is a charter school in downtown Raleigh and one of the first model STEM schools in North Carolina. With no bus services available for their students, they encourage parents to carpool or students to take the bus. These alternative options not only reduce carbon emissions but have encouraged independence in students.
